Our primary training aircraft are our fleet of Cessna 172s, equipped with six-pack steam gauges and Garmin G5 flight displays. For multi-engine training, we lease Diamond DA42 aircraft.

What are the different pilot licenses or ratings I can obtain through SimpliFly?
SimpliFly offers training from private pilot through certified flight instructor (CFI), including instrument rating, commercial pilot training, multi-engine training, certified flight instructor-instrument (CFII), and multi-engine instructor (MEI). Many of our students have used the experience and training received here at SimpliFly to begin successful airline careers.

We do not provide accommodation directly, but you can call us for information on housing options that may be available.

Can I choose between part-time or full-time training?
Of course! SimpliFly offers both flexible and accelerated programs to help you get your pilot certificate and ratings. Check out our individual program pages for more details.

Are there any medical requirements or restrictions for becoming a pilot?
The FAA has medical standards that all pilots must meet in order to be the pilot in command (PIC) of an aircraft. This is done by a medical exam from an FAA-approved medical doctor. However, to just get started, you can do a discovery flight and begin training. By the time you're ready to solo, you'll need to have completed an FAA medical exam. Talk to an instructor or one of our team members for more information.

Are there any opportunities for flight experience beyond the standard training curriculum?
Yes! Students who complete all their ratings through SimpliFly are guaranteed an interview for a certified flight instructor (CFI) position.
